Turky College of Education, situated at the Village Haryana N.H. 24 (Joya)Distt. J.P. Nagar U.P It was established in 2012 by Shama Educational Society. We envisioned a dream of establishing a high class educational Institution; an Institution that would mould and guide future generations to enlightenment.This premier College was established as teacher Training College for B. Ed. course and was Approved by NCTE, Jaipur and affiliated to M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly in 2012. Thenceforth, it started teaching in Arts, Science and Commerce catering to the academic needs of the people.
The college organizes extension activities related to community development in a number of areas like Social work, environmental awareness, AIDS awareness, Literacy, Health & Hygiene awareness, Blood donation camps and Relief Camps, population growth and child care etc. The extension activities are carried by NSS and NCC units.
The College has adequate classrooms and Laboratories which are spacious enough to meet the requirements of the students. The College has separate Arts, Science and, Administrative block, general library, auditorium, common room. The rich general library has more than 30, 00 text books and reference books for the use of Students and faculty members.
The college has ample facility for indoor and outdoor games as well. It gives all kinds of support to the players for participating in the Inter University and Zonal tournaments. For the development of Sports activities, the college administration has started to construct a sports hall for indoor games. The construction of basketball, lawn tennis court, cricket pitch for training and Morrum Volleyball court is under process.
The entire Campus has Wi-Fi facility; office and campus are under the surveillance of CCTV. All Departments and Offices are connected with EPBAX- Intercom facility. Students and the staff utilize these modern facilities in order to attain the academic excellence. All care is taken to prevent ragging within the campus.
